PRODUCT MANAGER
We are looking for
Do you possess long-term experience in product management and are familiar with the automobile claims business? Are you also familiar with utilisation of both calculation systems DAT and Audatex, as well as the processes of claims management? Are you also exceedingly competent in the generation of specialist concepts as a guideline for software development? Everyday duties will include collaboration with the developers of software or with external partners. Are you adept in the testing of applications, their successful introduction to the market and the management of products throughout their life cycle?
We expect from you
As product manager, you will be responsible for the successful development and marketing of the product. You understand how to describe technical requirements to the software developers to ensure target-oriented creation of the software. You are also the manager and implementer responsible for ensuring that the product is positioned successfully in the market. You are the technically-recognised authority in the claims processes; you are innovations-oriented and possess competent communications skills.
Your duties will include
- Technical and economic responsibility for the product
- Definition of the product architecture
- Generation of technical guidelines for development/further development of the product
- Coordination of technical concepts with the customer
- Coordination of software development
- Responsibility for quality of the product, including the carrying out of tests
- Definition of the operational requirements and their implementation within the team
Prerequisites
- Completed course of studies for informatics or comparative apprenticeship
- At least 5 years vocational training
- Pronounced capabilities and experience in the management of projects
- Experience in the management of products
- Pronounced specialist, technical and economical thinking and implementation
- Independent issuing and coordination of questions with the customer
- Excellent knowledge of calculation systems DAT and Audatex
- Excellent knowledge of automotive claims processes
- Experience in the creation of database applications, development of web applications and the operation of web services
- German-speaking with an excellent command of English
